Congratulations to BPA State Qualifiers!
Coleman, under the direction of advisor Kevin Koelbel, sent 19 Business Professionals of America students to CMU Friday, January 7 to compete in the 2012 Regional Leadership Conference. Nine qualified for the 40th Annual State Leadership Conference with junior Janine Sasse winning first place in Desktop Publishing.
Janine also placed 5th in Integrated Office Applications. The top seven in each category are eligible to move on to state competition in Grand Rapids March 22-25. Other state qualifiers include: sophomores Blaine Yeager (3rd) and Blake Scott (4th) in PC Servicing & Troubleshooting, junior Dominic Pnacek (4th) in Extemporaneous Speech, juniors Brad Crowl (5th) and Chapter President Andrea Fausett (6th) in Database Applications, sophomore Michaela Middleton (6th) in Business Spelling, and Blake Scott again (6th) in InformationTechnology Concepts. Torch Award qualifiers include juniors Katie Engelbert and Tatsiana Koelbel who, with Andrea Fausett, will be competeting for the second year at the state level. Good luck to all!
